City of Sydney Aquatic Club records new success

The City of Sydney Aquatic Club (COSAC) came first on the points score at the recent NSW Senior Metropolitan Championships.

Over the weekend, the City of Sydney Aquatic Club (COSAC) had incredible success at the NSW Senior Metropolitan Championships.

The team took home an an incredible medal haul which included 11 gold, 13 silver and 7 bronze, which saw the club finish first on the points score at the end of the meet.

Following these results, 30 COSAC swimmers qualified to compete at the Australian Swimming Championships. This is the biggest team COSAC have ever taken to the nationals, which will be held in Adelaide next month.

A massive congratulations to COSAC Head Coach, Rebecca Wheatley, and her team, including Assistant Coach, Thomas Sunter, and Team Manager, Karen Swinburn.

COSAC's junior swimmers will be competing at the NSW State Swimming Championships this weekend and we wish them the best of luck.

COSAC's squad swimmers train at Cook + Phillip Park Pool, Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre and Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre. Many of them have risen through the ranks from our learn to swim program.
