International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is held on 3 December each year to recognise the contributions and achievements of the 4.4 million Australians with disability, both visible and invisible.
On IDPwD 2021, Paralympic Bronze medal winner, and patron of the City of Sydney pools, Daniel Michel, visited Gunyama Park for a tour of the facilities and to address the team who work at the centre.
Daniel represents Australian in Boccia, and he shared insight into his sport with the Gunyama Park team.
