We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional custodians of our land – Australia. The Gadigal people of the Eora Nation are the traditional custodians of this place we now call Sydney.
A Covid Safe plan is in place at Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre. Physical distancing, cleaning and check-in measures are in place. Each facility will be managed to its occupancy capacity. When the centre is at capacity, a one in, one out policy applies.

This tranquil open space is the perfect post-workout, post-lap, pre-work and early morning wake-up spot. The café has air conditioning inside as well as an alfresco terrace overlooking the sporting green, so you can keep an eye on the action. There’s not a bad seat in the house!
We encourage all our customers to bring their own reusable cups to reduce waste to landfill whenever possible.
We've designed an innovative energy co-generation system to heat and power the centre helping us reduce our carbon footprint. Solar panels on the roof connect to the City's local electricity network. This means surplus electricity will be used to power buildings in the neighbouring community and cultural precinct.
